From and to our Friends and Customers: THANK YOU!

From a post of our friend Jennifer Gardner on facebook:

Devastating photos of Changu Narayan from my friend Kamal, who is safe along with his family and our mutual friend Amanda. Changu is about 30 minutes outside of Bhaktapur, which is about an hour outside of K’du…and one of my favorite places in Nepal.

I was lucky enough to visit Kamal (a master painter) at his thangka painting school and shops, where you can watch these extraordinary artists work- as well as another friend Furba, a master woodcarver. Obviously any orders will be delayed, but if you’re inclined, now would be a great time to help infuse money into Nepal’s economy.

help nepal artists donate school nepal

PS: If you want to donate money that will provide immediate relief on the ground and bypass likely corruption by the Nepali government, please share and click on “donate” button on the left.

Please specify “Nepal earthquake donation”.

I’ll be sending money to a couple of friends who are working with NGOs restoring infrastructures and services (water, electricity etc..) in remote villages.

More details to come.
